- Matt Seaman | Back on Track
Matt Seaman Trustee Secretary My name is Matthew Seaman, otherwise known as ’SPUNK', and I’m honoured to serve as a trustee for this vital men’s well-being charity. My journey began with a pivotal chapter at Chandos House, where I went through rehab in 1993. That experience not only helped me rebuild my life but also laid the foundations for a deeper understanding of the complexities many men face in their healing and personal growth. Since then, I’ve gone on to flourish as both a creative director and a business owner. Creativity has always been at the core of who I am, it’s how I process the world and connect with others. It’s also what fuels my empathy. I believe that being able to truly listen, to meet people where they are, and to honour their individual paths is essential in supporting meaningful change. Helping others navigate their own journeys is something I find deeply rewarding. As a trustee, I’m committed to ensuring that this charity continues to provide a space of safety, support, and possibility, where men can not only survive, but thrive. LinkedIn Profile < Back
- Andy Curry | Back on Track
Andy Curry Trustee After years of striving to regain my well-being, I finally succeeded with the support of Chandos. As a husband, father, and ex-pat, my journey to recovery was not an easy one, but the guidance and values I found at Chandos played a crucial role in helping me rebuild my life. Although the Chandos House itself is no more, its spirit and principles continue to thrive through James and the incredible work of Back on Track. I am proud to serve as a trustee, ensuring that others receive the same support and second chance that helped me find my way forward. < Back
- Quill | Back on Track
Quill Spiritual Director, Diversity & Inclusion Manager, Druid Celebrant & Hospital Chaplain My name is Aaron, sometimes known as Cuillioc [IPA kʰw̥ɨɬʎɒk ], or Quill for short. Like so many of my generation, I have a kaleidoscopic employment history typical of the "gig economy" - lots of short contracts in lots of different kinds of roles, which have only recently begun to resolve into some kind of pattern. If I could sum up that pattern in a few words, they would be something like "Service, Spirit, Vocal, Efficiency, and Integrity." In the words of Marilyn Monroe: "I do what I like, and I like what I do!" When I decided to push my experience into a Self Employed mould, I found that, to the dismay of any business advisor with their salt, I couldn't pare down my professional interests or experience into just one area and focus on Just That. Thus what you see before you, a quadrilateral of four basic sections, which each overlap in some ways. The common themes can, I believe, be summed up in the Core Values of the United States Air Force are as Follows: "Integrity First, Service Before Self, Excellence in All We Do." I believe it is impossible to do Good Work - work that is morally and ethically sound, as well as work that is valuable and worthwhile - without a clear set of Values and consistent display of adherence to those values. I like to be helpful, to care for others, and to be of service to individuals, communities, and to the World at large. Whether I am leading a corporate training programme on Diversity in the Workplace, guiding a grieving family through a funeral, or putting your receipts for the last year on a tidy spreadsheet so you can do your taxes in time, everything I do is aimed to serve some kind of Greater Good and make the world a better, nicer, easier place to live. And no matter how mundane the task I may currently be engaged in is, I always strive to deliver with the greatest quality and efficiency I can manage. Visit Quill's website < Back

- Tim Scoons | Back on Track
< Back Tim Scoons Conservation Consultant & Supporter I’ve always had a strong connection to Nature and I believe in its power to re-balance the human spirit and re-connect us to what’s really important in life. I’m also passionate about the need to protect and re-wild Nature and I’ve dedicated my whole life to environmentalism, wildlife conservation and permaculture. A naturalist since I can remember, I grew up in rural Dorset. I was heavily influenced by my late mother, who was an extraordinary gardener – a passion I have continued with my wildlife garden and two allotments in Bristol, both of which I’ve lovingly managed in organic permaculture for over 20 years. From the age of six I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to conservation, so I trained as a biologist and worked on conservation projects throughout my youth. I then spent 25 years making BAFTA and Emmy award-winning wildlife television and digital media, including 15 years as an Executive Producer at the world-renowned BBC Natural History Unit, where I created and led the BBC’s much-loved Springwatch – a unique and innovative brand dedicated to connecting the British public to the Nature on their doorsteps. Three years ago, I left the BBC and returned to front line conservation, where I now advise environmental organisations on media, campaigns and public engagement.

- James Dickinson | Back on Track
< Back James Dickinson Visionary & Founder “James speaks the truth—whether easy to hear or not. He challenges, uncovers, and heals. Why? Because everything he does is rooted in love. He gives people what they truly need, not just what they want.” – Dean, Head of Treatment, The Kusnacht Practice, Switzerland In 1994, I founded Chandos Therapy Centre, a refuge for those facing addiction and crisis. For 24 years, I mentored, guided, and fought for those in need. When Chandos closed in 2018, I faced my own reckoning—one that led to five years of deep personal reflection, renewal, and rewilding. Now, I channel my experience into teaching, mentoring, and leading across multiple fields. Rebuilding, Rewilding & Guiding Others: Back on Track – A charity supporting those battling addiction, mental health issues, and homelessness. Active Consideration - Organisational Consultancy which in the future will offer retreats and day packages for individuals & teams to build stronger connections with nature, themselves and each other at The Centre for Rewilding. Outward Challenge, Inward Adventure – Transformational retreats blending nature, movement, and mindfulness. Super Grafters – Ethical, light-touch building projects. Criminal Justice Intervention Team – Providing supervision and insight. Environmental Conservation – Leading rewilding projects with UWE at Old Sneed Park Nature Reserve. Beyond the Mind – Rewilding Body & Spirit: From Ironman training and black belt Taekwondo to wild swimming and barefoot hiking, I embrace the natural world as a source of healing. My passions include somatic movement, breathwork, martial arts, fasting, plant medicine, and biodiversity—all tools for deep, lasting transformation. Above all, I believe in rewilding ourselves—breaking free from what limits us and returning to our natural strength, purpose, and connection. Father, mentor, rescuer of four different Berts over 33 yrs. Always learning. Always evolving. Click to view prototype website chandosjames1@gmail.com 07538101842
- Shivani Fox | Back on Track
< Back Shivani Fox Holistic Therapist & Kambo Practitioner As a holistic therapist and Kambo practitioner, I’m hugely passionate about health and wellbeing. I n my personal life I’m dedicated to self-development through meditation, shamanism and yoga. I’m also passionate about nutrition, herbalism, making Kombucha and raw chocolate, and listening to great music. Many of the practises I now work in were valuable in my own recovery from physical and emotional issues. I trained first in Reiki back in 2004, which although a subtle energy process, introduced profound change in my life and helped me through some challenging times. It was an invitation to take the first step on a path of self-empowered recovery. Around the same time, I discovered the Osho dynamic meditations which gave me the key to unlock the world of meditation, something my overly active mind had made previously kept closed.
- Doomsday Dance Band | Back on Track
< Back Doomsday Dance Band Music Teachers The Doomsday Dance Band are four musicians who spread their time between London an Bristol. With their music, Dan Wilson , Ben Glasstone , Jeremy Avis and Dave Cuthbert are able to bring light to the darker days, and teach us how not to always take ourselves/everything so seriously. In the not too distant future, this uplifting quartet will teach us how to confidently hold a tune and use music alongside dance to enhance our bodily connections, feelings of self-worth and improve overall sense of wellbeing. In their words: Doomsday Dance Band are three local boys from the Alpha Centauri system - and a human bassist called Dave. We happened on the Voyager 2 probe, back in 2019 (Earth Years) just as it was inching into Interstellar Space. Excited by the sounds on the Golden Record attached to the side, we have been developing our own brand of human-inspired funk-rock ever since. We play drums, keys and guitars pretty well via our passable human prostheses, and are beginning to get to grips with social media. As we hurtle blithely towards disaster, Doomsday Dance Band offers a unique toe-tapping soundtrack to the apocalypse. Our mission: to get you dancing through the night, or possibly till the end of time. Whichever comes sooner. Visit DDB Website
